Question

IoT and Smart Router market revenue and size in the US

May 2, 2018 5:10AM PDT

What was the IoT and Smart Router market size and revenue in the United States in 2017? What is the projected CAGR in both these cases? Also, what is the forecasted value in 2022 or 2023? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
P.S. Please quote data from legitimate sources
Thanks in advance!

Answer
Smart router is in decline here. Why?

ISPs are supplying routers today so you don't see as much action there as you used to.

As to IoT, would you include Amazon and Google devices? (Echo?)

Yes smart home would include smart speakers and personal assistants like Amazon Echo and Google Home.
Is the smart router really in decline in the US? That comes as a surprise to me! What do you think are the possible reasons for this? Also is the smart router market showing a stagnant growth or is it actually nosediving?
Thanks in advance!

I can only think you didn't read my reply.

I noted why in my reply. Here, I see it nosediving. Remember you asked about smart router and not some smart home hub.

That's the kind of thing companies like Gartner and Forrester do. Contact them to see what they have to offer and what it costs.

Gartner and Forrester reports are quite costly. Is there any way where I could get this information for free? I am not asking for a lot of details - just the projected CAGR and the past/future value would be enough. For a couple of things, I feel paying around 3000-4000$ would be a bit too much.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway!
