Resolved Question

ios 8.1 and osx 10.7.5

Nov 1, 2014 3:36AM PDT

Well, here I am, back again. I recently got an iphone 5c with ios 8.1. I also have a macbook os x 10.7.5. I'm trying to get them to sync w/icloud and can't seem to make them work.

I'm pretty sure I have set them up correctly but when I make a change in my iphone icalendar it doesn't show that change on my os x, either in the icalendar or the Outlook 2011 calendar. The same is true from the os x to the the ios.

Can you pls help me trouble shoot this?

Thanks,

Rita

Have to go with no.

iCloud appears to be a work in progress such as https://www.apple.com/iwork-for-icloud/ On top of that you have a Microsoft app that well, we know about the Calendar woes as Apple and Microsoft ended some sync feature recently.

So no, given the two companies don't want to work together I think the answer is to craft any other solution for the calendar.

After I asked this question I did a search on google and found that icloud is not the only storage/sync program out there (I really am a tech dummy). I just watched a Dotto vid comparing dropbox and google drive and I think I am going to get rid of icloud and go w/google drive. There is soooo much out there I have no idea about it just boggles my mind.

Thanks for all the help you provide!
