if they can't reproduce the problem, then it is solely up to you to find something that is simple and small enough for them to work from. otherwise, you will have to do something like stop and restart the program every 24 hours or stop using the program. the vendor may or may not be able to supply you a special version that produces extra diagnostic information to find the problem. that would be the best solution.
Herb...
I have been using the Iopus Star product for 1 1/2 years and since they rewrote the software and renamed it ACTMON now at Version 5.4, It will only run 24 hours on an XP PRO Machine and then starts giving application errors and the locks the machine up.
I have contacted there tech support folks on several occasions and they are saying they can't duplicate the problem. It acts like Actmon over time uses up all the systems resources and then locks up the machine. It will continue to run and send email reports untilit the machine locks up.
Has any One had this similar problem?? If you have I would greatley apppreciate your help and advice.

NOTE: The Last 3 times I have loaded Actmon it has asked to reboot the computer, when the PC comes back to the desktop the following error can't start the application "WskrnlData". When you type ACTMON in the run box it says it can't find it, so I have to reinstall the software two times to get it to work where I can go into it and configure it. Also, it ask you if you want "actmon" erased from the run command and I click on yes and the desk top clears for a second and comes back, but, when you exit from Actmon the run command box still has Actmon in it.
