Iomega 33748 1 TB Double USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive

New help for a friend who has an Iomega 33748 1 TB Double USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive. His email to me is as follows:

"One of my external hard drives has mysteriously become a read-only drive. I can read and copy from it but cannot add to it. I cannot add files, documents, photos, new folders, etc. How do I get it to return to its original status?"
