Invisible Shield or BodyGuardz?

Dec 16, 2008 7:24AM PST

I just purchased a Nintendo DS Lite, and I want a scratch resistant shield. Would you recommend the Invisible Shield or the BodyGuardz protector? Also, which has better coverage, better look, etc?

I would go with the invisibleSHIELD. Original Scratch-Proof Protection! I have used them for 3 years.

I just put one on my husbands phone but ran out of spray for my phone. Anyone know what the mix of water and baby shampoo is?

Not Zagg Invisible shield
Jan 9, 2010 9:50AM PST

I would not recomend a Zagg Invisble Shield, I got one for my sons NDSi 6 months ago and the touch screen shield is worn so bad thats its hard to see through. I tried filling out the warranty form on there website for a warranty claim, but it kept comming up with errors, so I gave up after 5 times of having to retype all the info.

Something else to consider
Dec 26, 2008 10:05AM PST

Something else to consider is Hori band screen protectors. Chanced across some of these in Target one day. They're a very good protector, though the instructions for applying them aren't so great. The english translation leaves something to be desired, but then again, it's not really all that difficult to work out.

Thing I liked about the Hori protectors, is they don't require a special water based solution to be sprayed on them like Invisible Shield does. They can just be hard to come by outside of Asia. You might want to opt NOT to install the full body protection if you have any color DS Lite than white. The protector will be clearly visible then, but the screen protectors are very good. Unless you really look hard, you cannot see them once applied. So no visual quality loss like some screen protectors introduce.
