I don't claim earning it.
Chuckling, my response after discussing it and it became a reality was..........
What have I gotten myself into?
But thanks all, after a bit, maybe I'll even know what I'm doing.

You should be really good at the job as you always make well thought out replies![]()

Hi, KP.
So do we -- that's a major reason we picked him!

Hmm -- I see my caveat about being careful you don't accidentally hit the "delete" button may have come too late!

And I better be double, triple careful in the future because I didn't even know I had done it.
If I've accidently done it anywhere else already, my sincere apologies.
I'll try to get my sig with link to email etc, set up this evening.
Hi, Roger.
It's very easy to do -- we've all done it. You soon learn to keep your cursor away from that part of the screen unless you "mean business!"

Roger NC is now a Moderator?
If so, then Dear Roger NC, I'm delighted to hear that. Coo-er, it is a brave man ... but I have no reservations at all that you are a brave (and competent) man, and my best wishes.
Of course - if I have misunderstood, then my apols, but my compliments to you either way.

apparently deleted DK's starting post saying he was a mod! LOL I'm rolling on the floor over here!
Actually, Mo, it appears it was an accident. When you give someone a loaded gun you better be sure he knows how to use it or he may point it at you and ask "What's this for?" as he pulls the trigger. ![]()
Hi, Rosalie.
The problem is that the special "delete message" button that Mods have is very close to the "reply to this message" button, and there's no "are you sure?" failsafe. We all did it accidentally a time or two when the software was new...

I don't want to detract from Roger NC (and congratulations again now that I know for sure).
I'm curious as to whether anyone has "clean hands" about pressing the wrong button, and I'll bet also that there's a story or two amongst our Forum folks when this happened...
