Internet turns off every 10-15 minutes

Sep 30, 2013 4:47AM PDT

I have just moved into a 3 bedroom flat in the centre of Liverpool.

All 3 of us share a BT Internet connection.

However, every 10-15 minutes we all lose connection and have to reset the router, eventhough the router says everything is working.

I have tried changing the channel of the router to a less busy channel but this doesnt seem to have done anything.

I do not know. Sorry, don't have a ethernet cable with me.

There are 6 routers in the flat and 5/6 disconnect. Only one doesnt disconnect every so often

Let's say this is all wifi.

Then there is bad news here. As there is only one non-overlapping WiFi channel on 802.11n (read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels ) then it would be a challenge as well as expected for so many routers in the flat to interfere and not work well.

It's time to talk to the persons that set this up and ask them to fix it.

that's a little bit odd, you should consult your ISP
