Internet Slow

Jan 7, 2008 5:37PM PST

3 days ago, my internet became slower and slower to the point that I can not load some pages unless I refresh at least twice. It might be spyware, adware, trojans or worms but I have already scanned my laptop with AVG, Spybot and Spydoctor. Can someone help me?

Did that message in red font above your post window not display properly for you? It asks you to include all your system info, and any other specifics related to your problem.

What specifics? I would think what type of internet connection do you have, and who with, and what happened when you went to your ISP's Home Page and checked the status of their servers.

Oops missed that. Toshiba Satellite A215-S4747 running on Windows Vista Home Premium. Comcast Cable Internet. I think I am positive that this is a trojan, spyware, or some sort of malware but I have already used spydoctor, spybot and avg to try to get rid of the problem but it is not going away. I do not think it is the linksys router I have because my sister's internet is running fine in the other room.

winsockfix, Google it. Are you wired or wireless? You might try a System Restore before the winsockfix.
