So far, it hasn't happened.

No matter what I've seen folk install there has always been something that the user installs or does to cause some insecurity.

For now I think the answer is to not use the internet if you think some software or thing will give you security.

Sorry, when I posted I thought it had to be a real short question.

I'm wanting to make my internet connection secure where no one else can get on it. When I pull up my Network & Sharing Center, it says that it's private but my niece is still able to log right on to it. Can you help?

That's a bit easier to fix.

1. Use WPA2 and change the password.
2. Do not let anyone wire up to the router.
