They have become suspect since you write that rebooting them gets them working again.
Bob
I have a Netgear CMD31T modem and a Netgear R3600 router. I have had this set up for about a year, and recently something has gone wrong. Every once and a while, the internet would go down, I would go and notice that the upstream 1/2 and 3/4 lights are either off, blinking or red. So I would just reboot the modem, and that would fix it. And then recently the upstream lights would be blinking, off or red even when I rebooted the modem, but the internet would still be fine.
So recently it went down, I rebooted the modem, and the 1/2 upstream was green and the 3/4 was off. I notice that on my computer web pages are loading slowly, so I go to speedtest.net to see whats wrong. The download speed is 50 mbps (like its suppost to be) and my upload speed is all over the place, but it ends around below 1 mbps when its suppost to be 5 mbps. I don't understand why the upload speed would be causing webpages to load slowly, but it is definitely driving me CRAZY. I would really appreciate it if anyone had some insight on to what is going on here!
