if your registry is damaged and you didn't fix right away, the only reliable way to fix is to do a clean install of Windows and everything else.
Herb....
I'm on windows 98, and certain sites won't open anymore. I always get the 'cannot find server' page for some pages. Some of them are:
- 'Apply' @ http://careers.colesmyer.com/jobDetails.asp?sJobIDs=25741
- https://my.monash.edu.au/
- Hotmail log-in attempts & the registration page
and all versions of msn messenger won't connect.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but some time ago it would frequently have a problem with the system registry or something when windows starts up, then it restarts and fixes it with a backup.
I've been through help pages & asked at a number of different forums, but nothing's worked so far. If you can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
