internet problems

Hello
We have two computers both Acer Aspires which share the same Belkin N wireless router the childrens computer connects fine to the internet, but mine sometimes stalls completely or is very slow to go to web pages then half an hour later it surfs really fast, I am at a loss as why this is happening (if i take to a repair shop with it being an intermittent fault it may not show up)I formatted my pc and all my settings are correct according to my service provider 'manx.net' and Belkin help centre, I have a broadband connection and running XP, the problem is the same on Explorer and Firefox
thanks

Hello
Yes it has the latest firmware, I beginning to think it might be the P2P software I use 'ARES' but it never used to be a problem
thanks

Yes, that's a known issue.

After you get off the P2P use then we can talk. But your router is not known to deal well with P2P use, even moreso with wifi P2P use.

If you feel it should work, call Belkin.
