I am looking at the new Canon Rebel XT. Are there any trustworthy internet camera dealers out there?
Thanks, Mike

This question has been asked many times in the past. I try to reply each time with an emphatic, NO! Do yourself a favor and buy from a showroom when it's on sale. You will avoid innumerable headaches and rippoffs at a very slight premium. It's well worth it!

I stick to the Internet companies that are in the business of processing orders and shipping the goods.

amazon.com and newegg.com fall into that catagory.

The problem with sticking with 'showrooms' is that you won't see much of the latest equipment. That is especially true at the high end. If you don't buy it online, your SOL. When's the last time you saw a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM zoom lense in a showroom? Never?
