Internet Options "Clear History" icon; Task Bar Start Menu

by bamajack / July 2, 2004 11:30 PM PDT

If I attempt to click the clear history key in internet options, it locks up my system and the same occurs when I click the clear icon in the TaskBar Start Menu section. If I hit Cont Alt Delete, it shows (not responding). This just recently began. Can anyone help.

Try it in safe mode. Then reboot and look up IEFIX to automate IE repairs.

With the last few weeks of new IE exploits, consider trying another browser for daily use.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
