So we know that WiFI is like that so I don't offer fixes for WiFi other than to repeat "get wired."
But for W10 there is a setting I always turn off for gamers. Read? Read this link.

That can cause gamrrrs to yelp...
Hello!
Recently I have bought a new computer, my old computer was running perfectly well but had lagg spikes during gaming once every 20 minuts or so. I believe this was a software related issue but resetting windows didn't work, The problem started around the time I went from windows 7 to windows 10 with the free update. Around that time I also changed internet providers so there could be two causes.
Now I think the problem was software related since it didn't occur on windows 7 and on my ps4 I never expierenced lagg spikes simulair to my pc.
So I bought a brand new gaming budget pc of 900€, everything is new except my old HDD, I also run two new SSDs for the system and games themself.
But even though I changed systems I still have these annyoing lagg spikes which prevent me from doing the competitive games I love doing. I am completely clueless as what could be the problem. You would think it would be the internet, I have a 100mbs subscribtion with a FRITZBox! 7360 router on my google research I mainly found positive people about the router.
I am willing to try everything to better my situation since I haven't been able to play any games on my level for atleast a year now ![]()
