Internet on and off every day

by oneCNETuser / August 21, 2009 2:15 AM PDT

Hey ppl, the desktop pc's internet always stops working throughout the day. I am using a hi speed adsl modem with a d-link router. And the only way for the internet to work again is if I restart the computer. This will happen three or four times in a span of 8 hours (this is a work computer). And the odd thing is when I bring my own pc laptop and plug in an external ethernet from that same d-link router into my laptop, internet is fine on my laptop but at the same time the work pc's internet will never seem to load, it doesn't even show the "The page cannot be displayed" to indicate i have no internet because I DO have internet, the work pc's internet just seems to be continuously loading but very slow and i've never waited long enough to see if the page ever loads. And just today, when I came to open the store, there was this message box that popped up:

In the blue bar it reads: svchost.ext - Application Error and within this box is the following description:

The instruction at "0x71aa157d" referenced memory at "0x71aa157d". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program. Click on CANCEL to debug the program.

When I click the CANCEL, the same message box just reappears again. Does anyone know what the heck is wrong with my crazy work pc? PLEASE HELP, PPL!!!! Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
