internet not working

May 6, 2009 11:37AM PDT

I have to PC's on my LAN and they send packets but not receiving anything. TCP/IP settings are ok, I hooked up the pc to another cat5 and everything works. I also hooked another pc to one cat5 which I have trouble with and internet works fine. Just that one PC on that one cat5 is not working right? it was working yesterday just fine.
ipconfig shows the correct addresses, ping to another pc or server is negative 4 sent 4 not received. I put everything under TCP/IP to automatically...not working! I also restarted the routers (netopia) and still nothing. The routers are connected to the switch and from there the cat5 runs to the pc's. what else to troubleshoot? can you help...please
