If you want, you can purchase an ethernet card, or an ethernet USB dongle, which simply plugs in and after disabling the "old" ethernet device, use the new one. Your choice. Of course, maybe you just want a new computer.
Hope this helps.

I am having problems with my internet working one time when I switch on and not working the next time. Tried downloading and installing new drivers to no avail. It is an Intel (r) 82579lm gigabit network adaptor and it looks to me as if it is integrated with the mother board. If so I will sling the computer and buy another as it is getting much older. Running win 10 and just want to know is it integrated or not.
