Internet explorer won't open referred pages

Nov 13, 2004 8:27PM PST

I am experiencing difficulties with my browser not being able to open pages within pages. Every time a document needs opening in a new page, the CANNOT ACCESS PAGE bla bla bla appears. I do not have commercial popup blockers installed on my machine, so what might be wrong?

So far the issue can't be looked at in depth because no example web site was noted. SOME web sites broke with the latest IE6 (again, not noted is what browser version).

If this was me, I'd see if Firefox works and then see if IEFIX will clear up the issue.

In closing, if there is any SPYWARE (test with http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/pest/pestscan.aspx ) then all bets are off.

It could be because of some type of spyware installed on your computer. Try downloading- Spybot and Ad-aware Se from www.download.com.
Make sure you update the software before you run it.
