Internet Explorer will not load

by Helpme44 / November 14, 2004 10:40 PM PST

GM all,
I'm having a problem with internet explorer...when I was logged in the browser window just shut down or dissappeared. I have windows xp home edition and every time I tried to get back on the internet the dial up works and as soon as internet explorer opens it shuts down. I can still remain logged into yahoo IM or AIM.
The other thing is this is only happening when I am logged in under my user ID, which is also the administrator. If logged in under another basic user everything works fine... I also have Norton antivirus and firewall installed and are up to date...ran a virus scan and nothing came up
