If they're missing, then you can't find them. But it seems like they aren't missing. How are you looking for them? If you've looked in the folders I mentioned above and there is no "iexplore.exe" in those locations, but Internet Explorer actually works correctly, then they must be hidden some how or located in a location where one wouldn't normally look. It could be permissions, as Bob mentioned earlier, or maybe something else.
If you open File Explorer, then type "iexplore.exe" in the upper right corner search line, does something show up which would give you a clue where they are? (Remember you must enable "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" and UNCHECK the box that says: "Hide Extensions for known file types" in the Control Panel-File Explorer Options-View tab.)
Have you installed Windows 10 as a secondary operating system in a dual OS system? Something else?
Hope this helps and let us know.
