Question

Internet explorer for windows 7

by mbMUM / November 19, 2015 5:32 PM PST

I have tried numerous times to update to Internet Explorer 9 for windows 7 Service Pack 1, however, it has failed to install each time.
I have tried disabling my firewall to no avail. Anyone can help, sure would appreciate any advice.
Thanks Ann

I've seen this happen with infected PCs and more. But here we have "it doesn't work."

Thanks for the information, tried to download IE 11 to no avail, checked to make sure all of the prerequisites were downloaded. Any more suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: IE11

Both at work and at home, IE 11 runs fine in Windows 7. So - if you can't install it - something seems to be wrong with your PC. If you can't find what, and you feel you need it, the solution might be to go back to factory conditions and then go forward again. Reasonably speaking it should install then.
