internet Explorer application error

i have been getting an error lately when i close a program..it says the instruction at 0x7c9105F8 referenced memory at 0x017c0010. the memory could not be read. Does anyone know what this means? at the top of the error it has Acrobat I E Helper

If IE then you look for spyware.

Start with the usual scans with ADAWARE, SPYBOT and HOUSECALL.
