I see no one has answered yet...
I have never used Outlook:tried it but did not like
the way it posts the mail in. Mean could not get used to it..
Tried Eudora same bad effects..
Using I.E. and am wondering What everyone means with
they set against it. The spam is not brought in
by I.E. alone.
IN my simple opinion, anything from MS is spyware or
it allows for Viruses and Worms to be spread in...
First one: Windows Messenger
also: Windows Updates: as soon as I had installed Windows
and Norton A.V.. When going to MS Windows Updates
would each time get some virus or other in..
This is not happening any more it seems, due to the usage of a HDware Firewall: a simple low cost Router.
Was speaking to a Lady Technician working with
a ISP and she clearly said she never takes Windows Updates: added: I think I do not even have SP 1
with Win XP... Added: am using a Hardware Firewall.
Wonder... Would certainly appreciate Experienced Users opinions on all this.
Regards to Eac h and anyone.
I am still using Outlook Express as I tried Thunderbird and just really didn't enjoy the feel of it so much. Perhaps I've just OE for so long. I have never had a problem with the OE program (just spam) and was wondering what problems, if any, have people had with Outlook Express on their computers.
Also I would like to know from the people out there still using Internet Explorer why they have chosen to still use it and what tools or programs they use along with it to prevent all the crapware on the internet. Without jerks out there making these stupid programs no one would have any need for another browser. I remember the days I used IE all the time but I switched to Phoenix -> Firebird -> Firefox as soon as I heard about them and wanted all the ads and popups to stop.
