internet explorer 8

i have a pentium 4 250gig hard drive 768 ram and windowsxp professional
my computer was running quiete nicely until i installed internet explorer 8 now nothing but trouble and errors
i would like to know how to uninstall internet explorer 8 and re install internet explorer7

You should just be able to revert back,

using the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs utility.

It will be listed there as Windows Internet Explorer 8, (not just Internet Explorer 8), and uninstalling it will revert back automatically to IE7.

One proviso, if you installed IE8 before Windows Update installed SP3, then that won't work. To solve that, you would have to first uninstall SP3, then uninstall IE8 to revert back to IE7.

in reply to what mark flax suggested that i do to remove internet explorer 8 i done what he suggested sure it reverted to internet explore7 but it would not display the page so i had to go to microsft download and re install internet exlorer 8 again

it displays the page ok in internet explorer8 but not internet explorer 7 so i am backto the original problem with internet explorer 8 its extemely slow to load the pages a problem that i did not have with internet explorer 7

So your problem is:
- IE7 doesn't load the page, IE8 does (but you didn't tell what page and what error)
- IE7 is fast, IE8 is very slow

It's all very strange. All I can say: try Firefox.
