internet explorer 7 error.

hi ive been getting a message saying internet explorer has expierienced a problem and must close after getting this for 2 days constantly i have reformatted and reinstalled windows xp and installed all updates but the problem is still happening i was advised to try firefox which i have and the problem is happening with that aswell any help would be great thanks ant.
