Internet Explorer 7

by jjthr691n / February 8, 2006 4:38 AM PST

I have the current version of IE 7 and all I got to say is that they still need to work on fixing all the bugs in it. I downloaded a security patch for it and so far it seems to be working for now. I hope it stays that way.

I've been enjoying most of what's "new and improved" in IE7 for over a year now using a wonderful little product called Mozilla Firefox.

That all being said, it's a beta... A Microsoft beta at that, which is what would be considered a rough alpha for most serious developers. You have to expect there will be some bugs and not everything will work right. I plan to stay as far away from it as possible.

I've been using IE7 since Beta 1 and none of the horror stories out on the web have affected me at all. I have found it stable, secure and faster than FF 1.5. Just my twopennorth, but I must admit the wife prefers FF

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
