Internet Explorer 6.0 start up problem

When I click on the internet explorer e when it opens there is a box asking you to pick a skin. chices are to open or cancel when hitting cancel I can go about normal business until another window opens and the sam message display. How do I ge rid of this annoying pop up on start up

downloaded any browser helper objects (BHO's) or browser skin features. Sometimes the unscrupulous one's will manage to download w/o you even knowing it. It may be in your Startup programs or Add/Remove Programs. Is your Homepage still intact?

IE download and install BHOs automatically, without you even knowing. A lot of people just start IE one day and find toolbars appearing out of nowhere. It's just a bad browser. Get Mozilla Firefox.
