Such is very tricky. I have a method, but you decide if you want to do it.

1. Install FIREFOX (you can uninstall later).
2. Run IERADICATOR (Pwoof, IE/OE all gone).
3. Use FIREFOX to manuever to www.microsoft.com/ie and reinstall.

Many funny error messages and only 5 reboots and a Windows Update and IE/OE is reinstalled.

Some find it easier to use IEFIX to solve minor issues.
