You might also try Firefox or Netscape ... some report business sites do not recognize IE7 ...guess it isn't always best to be first for a new SW release.

Did You Try Uninstalling IE7 From the Control Panel?

You can't have both versions on the same machine so if you want IE6 instead of IE7, then open the Control Panel, double click on "Add/Remove Programs", then click on the "Windows Internet Explorer 7" listing and choose "Remove". It should revert back to the previous IE6.

If you want a full IE6 SP2 download for XP and you can't revert back correctly, you may need to reinstall the entire SP2 package using the full downloadable installer from the link below.. It's a large file (about 260 MB) so you'll need a broadband connection to download it.. (I have a copy of the SP2 file burned to a CD for just such situations.):

Hope this helps.

Repairing Windows XP
by PudgyOne / November 22, 2006 1:40 AM PST

with the Windows XP SP2 disk with also repair your computer and also put back on Internet Explorer 6. Then when you do your Windows updates, do NOT download and install Internet Explorer 7.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
