Internet explorer

Hi,

I have IE, as well as Firefox and Safari. My dad uses IE, and I have had this computer for like a year. I have not updated or installed anything for IE. Now I found out there is an IE8, do I need this? Is it buggy or does it have problems? Do I delete the existing IE and then down load 8?

Thanks in advanced,
Audrey

IE8

I use IE8 and haven't noticed anything buggy about the upgrade. BTW, when you do download it, the new version will just overwrite over the old version. No need to uninstall.

good luck!

Audrey,

Hi my name?s Feran and I am working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team.

Here are some good resources to check out to learn more about IE8: the IEBlog: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/ and the demo page http://www.ie8demos.com/tryit/ will give you a better idea of IE8 and see how it differs from other IE versions.

IE8 is a more secure and reliable browser ? you can read some reviews reagarding safety and security here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/161587/is_ie8_actually_safer.html and

Let me know if you have any questions,
