internet exploer is annoying me to no end!!

Aug 9, 2007 3:27AM PDT

ok, so ever since last night(wednesday aug Cool i have been getting this annoying popup message that states internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. sorry for the inconvience. then it asks if i was to send in the error report, so i do.

i have run a virus scan and a spyware scan and found nothing, i ran norton utilities windoctor and took care of a couple things there. i don't know what is causing it or how to make it stop. its really making me and anyone know what causes this?

i can't wipe my hard drive as i don't have a copy of windows xp (hubby does but says it can only be used on one pc only.) i've thought about getting vista but am unsure if i would need the upgrade version or the full version... its so expensive though!

any help would be appriciated

here's what i get when i run eventvwr.msc

Disable Script Debugging.
Aug 9, 2007 7:48AM PDT

Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advance tab. Scroll down to and select (place a checkmark beside) "Disable script Debugging." Click Apply > OK.

It may be necessary to restart the computer for the change to take effect.

Hope this helps.

its already checked. thanks for the suggestion though. i posted this in another forum as well, and they has me clean out all my tracking cookies, web history and home page etc. then had me reset IE7 and it seems to have fixed my problem. they said everything in my cookies etc was trying to load with IE7 and it would crash that is why i would get the message i was getting.
