Question

Internet drops out intermittenly (every few seconds)

Feb 19, 2016 11:17PM PST

Long story short:
WiFi internet connections drops to zero around every couple seconds.

Channel: using channel 11, with 2 others neighboring WiFi. Interference owing to other channels being used seems minimal.
Signal Strength : always good.
Distance from WiFi router : around 15 meters with 2 walls and nothing else.

Notice this issue when I play online game where everything just stops moving every couple seconds. Check my WiFi status and it shows my connections plunge to zero every now and then.

Tried playing with my mobile phone internet without problem, so I don't think it's my adapter issue. I also updated my network adapter manually.

Tried changing to different channels doesn't help.
Tried playing while no one was at home doesn't help.

Sometimes, rarely, the game-play would be smooth. But 90% of the time they are very bad.

Any help or guidance there?

Answer
Gamers tend to tire of this and get wired.

You don't control settings so in this case you need your own internet connection.
