Internet detection problem

Aug 6, 2007 11:51AM PDT

Hi,

I have just put together a new PC and runnging XP with SP2. I use a wireless broadband ISP.

My connection manager detect the ISP signal and connects and verifies my password etc. When I ping websites they seem to be ok. but my browser don't seem to be working. The home page opens and sometimes I can go to other sites but most of the times the page does not open.

Other programs seem to have difficulty detecting the internet connection, MSN messenger, Norton Antivirus and my anti-spyware.

I have looked at my internet option and it seems to be ok.

Can anyone help.
