Internet connection timer problem.

May 19, 2006 3:54AM PDT

I am currently using a freeware Internet connection timer called No Frills Timer. It workes great and keeps track of the time I spend online per billing cycle great except when the computer is reverted to a previous date/time using System Restore.

Anyone know of such a freeware that will survive System Restore?

Using XP Home.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

A clockHappy

Can you keep a backup of the time before you do a restore, write it down or screen shot it\thumb it\floppy it\note pad it, then add the new time amount to the backup\record of?

Or if starting from restore point time, subtract the recorded\backed up time from the new time for the difference then add it to the backed up\recorded time.

Or can you reset the time after the restore, then add it whenever you need to to the backed up\recorded time?

Thanks. Just checked. It does create a .txt log of connections, reset date/time/totals. Meanwhile, still looking for an app that won't reset with the use of SR and doesn't require the use of my faulty biological memory.
