I recently upgraded to Vista and noticed that when I dial onto the internet (through a dial-up connection) it doesn't show me the connection speed in the system tray like it does in xp. Does anyone know how to get the little flashing computers back or an icon in the system tray that when you hover over it with the mouse will show a tool-tip with the connection speed? I know that you can check the connection speed by opening the connection status window but thats too much of a pain to do. I just want something similar to the connection icon in the system tray that xp (and previous versions of windows) had. Can anyone help me?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
