Internet Connection Sharing Gone?

Hello all, yesterday I had accidentally created a LAN connection, disabled, removed it, and had discovered the Internet Connection Sharing had disappeared, under the advanced tab of "Wireless Internet Connection". I have looked, and looked for a solution to this problem but can not find one. I had found a workaround, tried it, but it just caused my computer to freeze up. Any solution would be helpful, thanks.

It's not native, that is you must install it.

It was on there before, and when I had created a LAN connection, it disappeared. I looked around on the link, still couldnt find anything on it, except on how to enable it. Which I cannot.

So why not...

In reply to: Eh.

Uninstall then reinstall it?

Click Start/control panel/add or remove programs

In reply to: How...

On the left side are three big icons, the 3rd being "Add/Remove Windows Components".. click on that..a windows components wizard starts up, and lets you change what is installed.

ICS is part of "Network Services".

I had tried that recently, and I did not have a "Network Services" selection.

But, yesterday I had done a system restore to a date prior to everything happening, and I have ICS back, and working fine now.

Thanks for the help.

It's a common item.

In reply to: Actually

I may get the section wrong since OEMs can move this item about.
