I will try to isolate the troubled device.
Take the router out of the mix and connect the PC directly to the modem. If the problem clears, you have found the offending hardware.
If the problem still exists, you have left the modem or the network adapter. Try another adapter or another PC.
You have to whittle it down to see which part is bad.
Of course a check on the latest firmware for the router and the latest drivers for the network card is first on my list.
I have a BEFW11S4 and I get connection problems, my internet disconnects but I can still access the router. On my modem, the PC Link Status light is on, the PC Link Activity Light is off, and the Cable Activity Light is on. Whats the problem? The Router? modem? my wireless adapter? And how do I fix it besides buying a new whatever?
