Internet connection on Samsung LCD- LN46C670 (SLOW)

by jamison65 / September 7, 2010 6:27 AM PDT

I'm having the same problem. The speed on my laptop is 10 mbps. The speed on my tv is 1-1.5 mbps. The entire reason I bought the tv & blueray with linkstick was to stream Netflix in HD. I could have continued to stream from my Wii with poor quality and no buffering.

I have been getting the run around from Samsung who keeps sending me to my ISP who then sent me to the router/modem manufaturer. Seems to me if my laptop is fine than the issue is SAMSUNG.

I called Netgear 888-638-4327 (wireless router/modem). They told me to change my channels to 1, 6 or 11. After changing my channel to 11 I'm getting 4.8 mbps. So far the tv hasn't frozen. Hoping to change a different channel and get my full 10.

Any update on whether you were able to get closer to 10 by changing channels? I'm not running off a Netgear router, but perhaps it's a universal issue with routers?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
