Go back with System restore or reload the OS?
I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium. Yesterday I installed Microsoft Security Essentials and now the internet connectivity doesn't work.
The internet connection is wireless, it shows as connected and I can ping out to google.com and get a response. However I get the cannot connect in ie and in chrome.
I've uninstalled security essentials, disabled windows firewall and set all the ie settings to low/none, but still the problem persists.
I can access the wireless network from other PC's and ipads, so it is definitely the laptop.
Anyone got any ideas?
