And had to update my router as it fell off the support list and would soon just stop working. So I did that and it's all good now.
To me the fiver a month is a good deal since it's their gear. If it dies, it's theirs to fix or replace.
So my internet has been resetting itself a lot lately. And last night it did so, and when all the lights read as connected and strong on my Motorola Surfboard, nothing including my wired connection to my pc could get internet. I did finally get it to work again.. not even sure how. this is the errors I saw.

Charter is trying to tell me that they no longer support my modem, but I kind of feel like they may just be trying to convince me to pay them $5 a month to rent one of theirs. Any clue what the errors mean would be great.
