Question

Internet Connection

Nov 4, 2018 10:53AM PST

Around 10 hours ago, I was browsing youtube and my Internet went out. I hover over and troubleshoot and it says to "Plug an ethernet cable into this computer." My ethernet cable is plugged into both ends, but the lights for it are off, so I tried unplugging and plugging it back in and trying different slots on my router. I checked the other computers in my house and they are working fine. I went to walmart and bought a new ethernet cable, when I came home and plugged it in the lights were still off and the problem wasn't fixed. So my guess is that it is a computer issue and I tried to uninstall the network adapter under Device Manager. After uninstalling it and restarting my computer the problem isn't fixed. I turned off my firewall as well to see if it would change anything and it didnt. I tried turning my computer off and unplugging the power because I saw that under one of the online help posts but the problem is still here. Can someone help please
