More Information Please

We need more information about your computer other than it's a "laptop". Make and model? Operating system used? (If it's an upgraded Windows 10 machine, have you installed the latest internet adapter driver for your computer? (Visit the computer manufacturer's website and download/install their Win10 supported wireless and ethernet drivers for your computer.) Type of internet connection being used? (ethernet or wired) Does the problem happen if you connect at another location such as a friend's house?

In the meantime, because malware can cause such issues, please follow the instructions in the link below to the letter.. Scan your computer with all of the tools mentioned.

“Expand” the post titled: "Please try this" at the link below:

Hope this helps.

Did You Try The Suggestions? And....

...you didn't answer all the questions asked. We need specifics. "hp laptop" doesn't tell us the make and model, whether you've updated your ethernet/wireless adapters, which type of internet connection you're using, or whether the problem occurs when you connect at other locations. Remember, the more information you give us, the better better informed our answers will be.

Hope this helps.
