I agree that that type of porn is sick and wrong. These officials are using that law for protecting themselves and its not the reason for it.
there is no way to petition or clear up things.. its just a way to censor what the goverment does not want you to know.

I would like to draw the attention of Buzz Out Loud's hosts' to what is happening in Northern Europe right now. Finland is on top of the list in freedom of press* and information society statistics, but now we are steered to really worrying direction what comes to freedom of speech and free Internet.
In last December, after a legistlation change, the central bureau of police gathered a secret blacklist of websites that it deemed to contain child pornography and sent the list to ISPs. Now there's controversy over the list as critics of the censorship system claim it does nothing to curb down actual organized pedophile sites and that most sites on the blocking list are not child pornography or some don't even have any regular porn on them. The block is trivial to work around - it actually lulls people into sense of false security, that things have been taken care of, instead of finding the criminals, persecuting them and putting the child pornography sites out of business.
The list of URLs is declared secret and when an active critic published it, his site was also added to the blacklist. Needless to say, his site contained no pornography what so ever, only links to sites which are already blocked from most ISPs in Finland.
