Internet Based SuperOS

OK Buzztownites,
I just came up with the best Idea ever. While it does have its disads picture this........ a full featured Internet Based OS for free. 'Free? How?' you may ask, well I have the answer. I'm sure we've all heard of Hulu, well, Imagine logging in, and while the OS's desktop is loading, you have to watch a 45-second ad. I mean, you're not doing anything anyway, and imagine how much advertisers would pay for 1 hour of everyone starting up and logging on to watch their commercial. Tell me what you think.

What do you mean, by internet based OS though?
I certainly wouldn't want to rely on web apps for all my computing...
That would be like giving up a luxury car for a wheelbarrow..

What I mean is that right now they are making the Cloud for the OS and this is more like the OS for the cloud. Maybe the OS is on the computer, but you store documents in the cloud and that is the first Priority for the OS to reference. If you don't have an internet connection, it should have a copy of the most important docs and programs on your hard drive. Instead of syncing to the cloud from the hard drive, it's the other way around.

I would not trust my data to an OS that can be turned off at will. It's bad enough that I may not be able to reactivate Windows if I reformat my computer 1 to many times...(in that case I can pull my data off and put it on a Linux machine).

While I understand what you mean about your data, the beauty of this OS is that from any computer with that internetOS, you log in with your User Name and Password, and it's the same desktop from any computer. It's the cloud, but better.

I have work to do. Having to watch advertising for any reason in the middle of my work is not worth it.
