Internet audio

Aug 19, 2005 10:35AM PDT

Ever since I upgraded my system memory from 256MB to 768MB I've had issues with audio on the internet sounding like "Alvin and the Chipmonks" with the sample rate at super high levels. I can't seem to find anyway to correct it. Here's pertinent info:
Windows XP Home SP2
Intel Celeron 1.7
768MB Ram
Verizon DSL ISP
