internet access using cell phone with laptop

by newbie22 / March 26, 2005 8:29 AM PST

Hi, i need help. I'm trying to use my cell phone for internet access on my laptop, but the damn thing is so slow, can any1 tell me if there is a cell phone or a pda/blackberry which i can connect to my laptop or use it by itself. I access a lot of sites where you need to type in user name and password, so obviously i need ie6. I'm looking for something with speed over 100k.
Can anyone tell me if
Siemens SX66 from cingular; and
Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device ppc6600
are any good, and how fast are they on laptop
Also I travel a lot on country side thx

currently have
Samsung A680
