Internet Access issue

by gaildil / August 16, 2011 2:17 PM PDT

Hi. Just purchased an Acer Aspire 5733Z in July. Everything was fine and dandy until last week when my internet froze. I restarted the computer and now my internet connection is lost. I have an excellent connection to my home computer but no internet access. I have tried a few things but can't seem to fix it. I am not very computer literate or tech savvy. I asked Acer techies and they are too technical for me and I don't understand what they are saying. I tried a system go. Can someone help me? Everything else is working fine on it. I just don't understand where I went wrong. This is my first venture into laptop land.
Thanks for your time!

So, your desktop computer hooks up but your L/T doesn't? Assuming you are running a wireless router, hardwiring the desktop and attempting to run L/T wifi mode. Just a little more information might help.

In this case it's time for a service counter.

If the support is too technical I fear I will be as well.

I'm sure you have a favorite support place you use so it's time again to use them.
