If you can remain calm, you just don't have all the facts.
I'm running 98SE/IE6/MSN9, I downloaded MSN accelerator thinking is would help downloads on my 56K modem. So far, it just sits at the same speed all the time 49.33kb. I contacted MSN, they said it was a modem problem. I contacted OEM, they wanted me to do all sorts of modem yanking and testing. (My troubleshooter says modem is working fine - even though it doesn't list ini.string and says no hardware ID, it has lots of data (files) listed as working. MY QUESTION - IS ACCELERATOR WORTH THE TROUBLE? Should I just add/remove it? Thanks
