Why does my explorer keep having a problem and then it closes down? It has been doing that quite frequently.Iam not sure what Iam suppose to do.

Whenever posting questions on these forums, please give us as much information as possible about your computer. Depending on your issue, we might need the operating system, processor speed, amount of RAM installed, brand name of the computer, (if there is one), and any EXACT error messages you are receiving, and in your case, which version of Internet Explorer are you using? The more information you give us, the better informed our answer will be.

I have Microsoft Win ME, system name - OEMCOMPUTER, system model-EZ-2000 and Voyager System Series, system type-X86-based pc,processor-Intel(r)Celeron(tm)processorGenuinelintel-900MHZ, version 4.90.3000 build 3000. The ie version says 6.002800.1106 ( I hope that is what you are looking for) and todays message said " Explorer has caused an error in <unknown>". Then you click close and it closes down the internet. Once in a while it will stay open. I did download the programs I will run them tonight.

...let us know how it goes with the spyware removal tools. After cleaning things up with the antispyware tools, please follow the instructions in the links below to clean up the computer a little bit more. It may take a while to follow all the steps, but it should help with some of the Explorer "conflicts" that may be occuring.:

Is it everytime you start up internet explorer it closes down or when you visit a certain webpage and closes down?
